<p>That&#8217;s how I felt yesterday after sending you the 3 big bootcamp trends for 2010. I totally left out 3 MAJOR bootcamp success factors.</p>
<p><strong>1) Bootcamp owners who energize &amp; inspire will win</strong></p>
<p>Remember this quote:</p>
<p>&#8220;People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.&#8221; &#8211; Maya Angelou</p>
<p>I can&#8217;t emphasize enough how important it is for you to bring high energy to every bootcamp you teach. But that&#8217;s not a new trend, however, your role goes beyond just energizing and even motivating your bootcampers.</p>
<p>What you need to do is <em><strong>get all of your bootcampers to join a Facebook Fanpage set up exclusively for YOUR bootcamps</strong></em>. On that page, you&#8217;ll post a powerful quote every morning. You&#8217;ll recognize specific bootcampers for their efforts. You&#8217;ll provide the social support and inspiration that might be missing from their lives.</p>

<p><strong>2) Bootcamp owners who provide a complete set of tools will win</strong></p>
<p>We all know that bootcamp clients can bust their butts in a workout but if they are eating poorly, they will get minimal results.</p>
<p>So you need to go beyond just providing great workouts and generic nutrition advice.</p>
<p>Bootcamp owners who go the extra mile and <em>provide written meal plans, grocery store tours, shopping lists, and fat loss recipes</em> (something you can provide on your Facebook Fanpage) will be the trainers who have the most clients getting results and giving referrals.</p>
<p>Take 10 minutes today between camps or while driving to your evening workout and make a list of ways that you can help solve the nutrition problems of your bootcamp clients.</p>
<p><strong>3) Themed Bootcamps</strong></p>
<p>Back to marketing&#8230;while Steve, Bedros, Chris, and Leanne give amazing tips in their bonus interviews in the TT Bootcamps System, I have thought of some new ideas.</p>
<p>I really think we&#8217;re going to see bootcamp owners dominate their area when they move towards niche markets with themed bootcamps.</p>
<p>If you specialize (i.e. holding Mom and baby bootcamps, bridal bootcamps, advanced butt kicking, beginner weight loss, or even &#8220;age defiance&#8221; bootcamps), you&#8217;ll be able to <em><strong>differentiate your bootcamp</strong></em> and provide a better, more powerful experience.</p>
<p>You will also be able to charge more because you are offering SPECIFIC solutions to more UNIQUE problems. Don&#8217;t try to be everything to everyone, because then you&#8217;ll be competing against everyone else, making your business a commodity.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-436" title="Bootcamp-Fitness-Marketing-Tips" src="http://www.bootcampworkoutsecrets.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Marketing-Tips.jpg" alt="Bootcamp-Fitness-Marketing-Tips" width="243" height="242" />I realized, after watching the England vs. USA World Cup game on Saturday afternoon, that everyone loves predictions. It was almost as entertaining to see all the &#8220;experts&#8221; predict the score of the game than it was to watch the match.</p>
<p>Only one expert got the score right, although it&#8217;s no big deal to be wrong&#8230;letting in the weakest goal in World Cup history, on the other hand, has serious consequences. Poor old Robert Green.</p>
<p>And while watching the match, I realized it&#8217;s not too late to make my own predictions on the most important bootcamp trends for 2010.</p>
<p>But these predictions aren&#8217;t just guesses. I don&#8217;t expect to be wrong, but I can assure you that failing to pay attention to these predictions will have serious consequences.</p>
<p>So here are the <strong><em>3 bootcamp trends</em></strong> that I predict will separate the ELITE bootcamp trainers from those who struggle.</p>
<p><strong>1) The trainer with the most interval training variations will win</strong></p>
<p>You simply can&#8217;t do long, slow, boring cardio in a bootcamp. First, you already know that isn&#8217;t a good use of your time. And second, no bootcamp client will stick around paying you $10-20 per session just to be told to run around a park for 20 minutes.</p>
<p>But since almost every bootcamper is there for fat loss, that means you have to come up with fun, cool, and new ways to do interval training. You can&#8217;t rely on just one method.</p>
<p>You can use fun games, obstacle courses, shuttle runs, intervals with equipment, and TT Bootcamp style challenges to replace traditional interval training where you run in a straight line.</p>
<p>The more options you have, the more your clients will get results, love your bootcamps, and refer their friends to join your bootcamp.</p>
<p><strong>2) The trainer with the most exercise weapons will win</strong></p>
<p>I&#8217;m not just talking about workout straps, kettlebells, stability balls, power wheels, and bands. Those are all really cool to have, but they cost &#8220;the big bucks&#8221; (especially if you have a big class) and equipment is always a pain in the butt to carry around.</p>
<p>So the best way to stock your training arsenal with a wide variety of exercise weapons is to know as many bodyweight exercises.</p>
<p>If you don&#8217;t know at least 10 different pushup variations, 5 unique ways to do lunges, or 11 different ab exercises (not including crunches, since you want to avoid that movement), but your competition does, then you could find yourself in trouble as bootcampers look for new challenges and variety in your workouts.</p>
<p>I highly recommend you search high and low, on Youtube and in old school bodyweight training books to find as many bodyweight moves as possible to liven up your bootcamps.</p>
<p><strong>3) The trainer with the most marketing tools will win</strong></p>
<p>At the end of the day, you can still have the biggest exercise database and the coolest equipment, but if you don&#8217;t have bootcampers than you don&#8217;t have a bootcamp!</p>
<p>That&#8217;s why you need to learn simple, easy, and powerfully effective bootcamp marketing ideas from my friends Bedros Keuilian, Steve Hochman, Chris McCombs and Leanne Ellington. <p>So I asked Pat Rigsby, bootcamp-filling guru, for his best advices on what you can do right now&#8230;</p>
<p><strong>Tip #1 &#8211; Reward your current members.</strong></p>
<p>Send a personal card to all of your campers and consider adding a $20 gift card to Starbucks or something similar. While some<br />
businesses will send cards, few if any will actually give &#8216;real&#8217; gifts.<img class="alignright size-full wp-image-130" title="giftcard" src="http://www.bootcampworkoutsecrets.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/giftcard.jpg" alt="giftcard" /></p>
<p>You&#8217;ll stand out from the crowd this holiday season and it will lead to referral word of mouth around holiday parties so that you&#8217;ll have more people calling to enroll in your camps.</p>
<p><strong>Tip #2 &#8211; Get your MIA campers back on the scene.</strong></p>
<p>Design a reactivation campaign to get all of your former campers and clients back on board for January. They&#8217;re going to go somewhere to try to reach their fitness goals in January &#8211; make sure it&#8217;s your camp.</p>

the TT Bootcamps workouts but still want more clients to take their<br />
bootcamps to the next level&#8230;</p>
<p>So I asked bootcamp marketing guru Chris McCombs for ideas, and here&#8217;s what<br />
he gave me:</p>
<p><strong>1) Talk to EVERYONE</strong></p>
<p>Wherever you go in your local area, just start talking to people.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t come across as salesy or pushy, but just start the conversation going<br />
and SOMEHOW turn it around to your boot camps&#8230; like start telling a funny<br />
story of something that happened at your boot camp last night&#8230; whatever it<br />
is, just turn the conversation towards your boot camps, and it they&#8217;re<br />
interested they&#8217;ll ask more it.</p>

<p><strong>2) Set Up Simple Facebook Ads</strong></p>
<p>Facebook ads are a GREAT way to get clients.. just make sure to target your<br />
ads as deep as possible.</p>
<p>So if you serve 7 different cites, create a separate targeted ad for each<br />
one and the put the name of the city in each ad&#8230; and target your<br />
demographics as deep as possible as well&#8230;</p>
<p>If your biggest audience is 25- 45 single females, then that&#8217;s who you<br />
should target in your ads.</p>

<p>I had a couple of family events, including a good ol&#8217; family reunion.</p>
<p>Great times!</p>
<p>But that meant I couldn&#8217;t make it to the &#8220;Bootcamp Bootcamp&#8221; in<br />
Louisville, Kentucky on the weekend.</p>
<p><strong>So I had my good buddy, Pat Rigsby, give us three of the best darn<br />
bootcamp tips from the weekend&#8230;</strong></p>

<strong>3 Killer Tips From Bootcamp Bootcamp &#8211; By Pat Rigsby</strong></p>
<p>We just wrapped up an incredible weekend with about 100 of the top<br />
Fitness Bootcamp owners in the world at the first ever Bootcamp<br />
Bootcamp.</p>
<p>We covered everything from the Top 5 Lead Generation Strategies for<br />
Bootcamps to ways camp owners can maximize results for their members<br />
using tools like bands, kettlebells and the TRX.</p>

could propel a new camp to the six-figure mark in a hurry, but<br />
sharing all 100 would make for a pretty long post &#8211; so here are my<br />
top 3.</p>
<p><strong>#1 – Pick two lead generation strategies and become epic at them.</strong></p>
<p>Most mediocre business owners dabble in a bunch of things instead<br />
of really committing to anything. Don&#8217;t be one of them.</p>
<p>Pick two high ROI lead generation strategies like public speaking<br />
or power networking &#8211; and work them relentlessly.</p>
<p>You&#8217;ll get into a rhythm, be able to test and tweak and more than<br />
anything else &#8211; you&#8217;ll get better and more confident at them.</p>
<p>So spend the next 90 days focusing on your top two lead generation<br />
strategies and watch you business explode.</p>
<p><strong>#2 – Don&#8217;t spend all your time chasing new people.</strong></p>
<p>It&#8217;s often been said that it costs 10X as much to acquire a new<br />
client as it does to re-sell and existing one.</p>
<p>Then why do most bootcamp owners spend all their &#8216;business growth<br />
time&#8217; chasing new prospects?</p>
<p><strong>I can&#8217;t answer that &#8211; but I can tell you it&#8217;s a mistake.</strong></p>
<p>Start spending more of your time focusing on internal marketing and<br />
less on external marketing and your business will grow twice as<br />
fast.</p>
<p>Instead of only offering one month of camp at a time, start selling<br />
3 or 6 month memberships &#8211; or at least putting people on<br />
auto-renweing memberships.</p>
<p>If you can get people to stay with you for 6 months instead of<br />
four, spend $249 a month with you instead of $199 through upselling<br />
them on Nutritional Coaching programs or supplements and get them<br />
to refer someone here and there &#8211; your income will multiply right<br />
before your eyes.</p>
<p><strong>#3 – Great marketing is no substitute for a great camp.</strong></p>
<p>I don&#8217;t care how good your marketing is, if you&#8217;re not delivering<br />
great workouts with tons of energy &#8211; your camp will never become a<br />
destination and you&#8217;ll forever be chasing new campers.</p>
<p><strong>You have to create an atmosphere that campers love and can&#8217;t stop<br />
raving about.</strong></p>

Amsterdam, and today we were in Brussels.</p>
<p>All the while filming TT workout videos and having fun.</p>
<p>But today while walking down one of the main shopping streets here<br />
in Brussels I stumbled across a gym offering Cardio Bootcamp<br />
Workouts.</p>
<p><strong>That&#8217;s right, bootcamps have hit Europe.</strong></p>

<p>They are everywhere, and they are radically changing the fitness<br />
industry&#8230;so you must keep pushing to get ahead and the lead the<br />
way in your city&#8230;or else!</p>
<p><strong>And bootcamps aren&#8217;t just for big cities like New York and Los<br />
Angeles (and Brussels?)&#8230;</strong></p>
<p>In fact, I did two interviews last week with small town, big money<br />
bootcamp owners Donovan Owens and Ben Warstler, about how they have<br />
built 6-figure bootcamps.</p>

and getting out there in the community.</p>
<p>I mean, frankly, you can&#8217;t even call that work&#8230;but that&#8217;s what<br />
they are doing to create the fastest way to a 6-figure income in the<br />
fitness industry.</p>
<p>So my challenge to you today is this&#8230;actually, two challenges.</p>
<p>First, use the Donovan Owens &#8220;Power-Networking&#8221; plan and list the<br />
top 5 &#8220;power brokers&#8221; in your town that you can network with<br />
tomorrow. Who do you know that knows someone who you should know?</p>
<p>As Donovan told me, he&#8217;s always on the phone networking. (Just like<br />
I&#8217;m always doing online networking &#8211; and I love it and the results<br />
it brings me.) So make that list and attack it tomorrow.</p>
<p>Your second challenge is to copy Ben&#8217;s &#8220;Small Town Joint Venture&#8221;<br />
strategy.</p>

work with&#8230;even in a small town.</p>

<p>The first thing I&#8217;m gonna talk about is my now world-famous human billboard marketing system.</p>
<p><strong>Now, the human billboard marketing system works off of the law of reciprocity, where you do something nice for someone and they feel compelled to do something for you.</strong></p>
<p>And it goes a little bit farther than that, but here&#8217;s how it works.  You&#8217;re gonna get 21 people that they&#8217;re gonna be your human billboards.</p>
<p>In other words, they&#8217;re gonna barter your Boot Camp services, and in exchange for getting free Boot Camp, they are gonna sign a contract that they will agree to refer one paying client per month.  All right?</p>
<p>So, they get free Boot Camp services.</p>
<p><strong>But they&#8217;re gonna get YOU one free client per month. </strong></p>
<p>And I&#8217;m gonna tell you about some really innovative tools you&#8217;re gonna give your human billboards to make it easier than heck for them to refer you tons of clients.</p>
<p>Now, let me show you how significant this is, and how you could go from zero to a six-figure income in 60 days with the human billboard marketing system.</p>
<p>If you take 21 human billboards and you times that by $199.00 per month, which is what I charge for my Boot Camps for a year contract on auto debit.  So, it&#8217;s $199.00 a month times 21 human billboards.</p>

<p>But in the meantime, let&#8217;s talk about 2nd biggest mistake in most bootcamp workouts that drives me freaking insane.</p>
<p>I saw a perfectly terrible example of it this morning.</p>
<p>As you might know, I walk my puppy, Bally the Dog, every morning here in Toronto, and five times per week we walk by a bootcamp class.</p>
<p>And every single day these trainers are doing something wrong.</p>
<p>Today, the big mistake was letting the class do the exercises with bad form.</p>
<p>Back when I was training 8-12 clients per day, I would get SEETHING mad watching other trainers put their clients through exercises while allowing bad form.</p>
<p>I bet my BP went to 220/160 watching that crap.</p>
<p>So negligent, and so ignorant.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t you agree that this is irresponsible?</p>
<p>Teaching someone to do an exercise is NOT hard!</p>
<p>I just don&#8217;t understand why trainers allow bad form. So what if you are training 10-20 people at the same time, there&#8217;s no reason to allow it.</p>
<p>I know you&#8217;re sitting there nodding your head and agreeing with me.</p>
<p>I bet you see bad form all the time and it probably makes you mad too.</p>
<p>So let&#8217;s agree to do something about it. Let&#8217;s agree to commit to stressing proper form in our classes&#8230;after all, that will give our clients BETTER results!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Twitter this. Facebook that. It seems like everyone is talking about Facebook and Twitter these days. The problem is that you have Facebook and Twitter accounts and only seem to waste time talking to old high school friends. So are these “social media” sites useless or are they really a good way to<strong> </strong><a href="http://www.bootcampworkoutsecrets.com/go/31bootcampworkouts/"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>build your fitness business</strong></span></a>?</p>
<p>The good news is that Facebook and Twitter are proven ways to build fitness bootcamps, market your gym, and even sell more fitness ebooks and DVD’s. My research has shown that Twitter is better for selling e-books while Facebook is better for getting clients to bootcamps, gyms, and personal training. So let’s look at Facebook first.</p>
<p>The most popular way to use Facebook is to set up a personal profile and become friends with everyone you’ve ever known. But when using Facebook for professional reasons, you need to be picky about who you friend.</p>
<p>Focus on building a network of quality Facebook friends, as this can be even more powerful than building an email list, because with Facebook, you can learn much more demographic information about your friends (birthdays, age, interests, etc.).</p>
<p>The real power of Facebook is found in what is called, “the news feed”. Every activity and action you take inside of Facebook is relayed to everyone in your network (i.e. your friends) and this can spread virally.</p>
<p>The best way to use the power of the news feed is to share video and photos of your bootcamps and personal training facility. This will alert all of your Facebook friends, and if one of them watches your video, it will alert all of their friends that they are watching your video. That’s how your video can spread between networks and will attract high quality connections back to you.</p>
<p>You can also get high quality friends by creating a Facebook group. For example, if you live in Fargo, North Dakota, you might start a Fargo Fitness group, and invite everyone in Fargo who lists “fitness” as one of their interests to join. This is a great way to build quality friends and you can then have a conversation about fitness with those people, and eventually turn them to the topic of your training.</p>
<p>Each day you should add up to 20 new friends, focusing on high quality friends. You could even outsource the “friending” of people to an assistant. For everyone that signs up for your group, your assistant could go through their friend list and “add/friend” everyone from their list.</p>
<p>However, always focus on building relationships first, and don’t be too heavy-handed with your marketing or always asking people to buy or signup for training or bootcamps. Instead, just be friends and become a trusted expert in the area of fitness to your Facebook network. Once folks trust you, they will be happy and eager to pay for your services.</p>
<p>Finally, you can also use Facebook is to start a Fan Page. This might sound silly, but if you run a bootcamp in Fargo with 60 members who also use Facebook, then you should start a Fan Page devoted to your bootcamp and invite all of your members to join. This way, you can communicate directly to those fans without having to go through email (and therefore you don’t have to worry about pesky spam filters).</p>
<p>Plus, building a Fan Page will get indexed by Google, and folks searching for “Fargo Bootcamp” on Google will have a good chance of coming across your Facebook Fan Page. Just remember to put your keywords in the title of your Facebook Fan Page. Building a Fan Page is one of the fastest ways to get business boosting results with Facebook.</p>
<p>Even though that sounds like a lot of work, you only need to spend 10 minutes a day on Facebook. Log in, post a link, update your status, add a video, and tell your friends to check it out. That’s it. Soon you’ll have a full bootcamp and you’ll be making big bucks working just a few hours per day and having fun with fitness bootcamp workouts.</p>
